Work Description

1. Sets the overall tech direction, roadmap, and ensures alignment with business objectives, often identifying future tech needs and opportunities.
2. Guides and mentors IT/tech departments, sets performance goals, fosters innovation, and manages tech talent.
3. Oversee the design and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards and industry’s best practices.
4. Manages systems, software, hardware, data security, and network architecture.
5. Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management and security protocols for high performance, uptime and data integrity.
6. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
    Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring data privacy and security regulations compliance.
7. Develops and controls the tech department's budget, managing capital and operating expenses.
8. Works closely with C-suite to communicate strategy and ensure tech serves business needs.
Stay aware of the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.

Requirement

IT/ Computer Science background with minimum in bachelor’s degree. Master’s Degree is an advantage

15+ years relevant experience in IT preferably in a multinational industry

 5+ years in management role

Experience in managing multiple areas of IT including IT planning and budgeting, systems development, technology infrastructure, and vendor management  

Excellent communication skills to translate tech to business terms.

Experience driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making.

Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.

Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
